For the last five years, I have been helping people overcome their anxiety, PTSD, anxious thoughts and trigger feelings through the process of Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT). Some of the areas I have worked on include; social anxiety, motorway anxiety, health anxiety and relationship anxiety. From a PTSD aspect, I have helped people through the process of IEMT overcome sexual abuse, previous accidents, bullying, overwhelming panic, fear, and strong feelings of living on edge. These feelings and past experiences were showing up as ‘triggers’ in the persons present day life, where they experienced, ‘anxiety’, but the reality was that they were unconsciously feeling into their difficult past experiences, in the present moment.

‘Time for a Reset’

Some clients I have worked with have labelled their anxiety sessions as what felt like a ‘RESET’. That’s what IEMT can powerfully do. It can help you to de-sensitise any past negative feelings that can feel extremely freeing, and it does it very quickly. The process can help you to be free of the thoughts that cause you anxiety, the thoughts and feelings of the past, and the overwhelm of emotions that you may often feel in the present moment.

The brutal truth with anxiety, is that the longer it is left untreated, the stronger it can grow in it’s persistence and will to get your attention. You can see your anxiety as a call from within, a messenger that is trying to get your attention to help deal with the anxious feelings – to release them. Unfortunately, many people will attempt to ignore and repress their anxiety, and another blunt truth is, that you can then change the way you live, how you behave, the results you get in your life, in a very limiting way. What can also happen is that your anxiety can manifest in health conditions as it affects your nervous system and it can have a negative impact on many areas of your life if left untreated, especially with your personal relationships.

I worked with one lady who had experienced anxiety and the feelings of being on edge every day for around 20 years. In six sessions of IEMT her whole life had changed, which improved her health and marriage and her general day-to-day life. She no longer felt the triggers which were all related to her past experiences which would often leave her on edge in the present moment, and now she had ‘reset’ herself through the process of IEMT and began to live her life.

My Anxiety coaching session structure outline is:

Session 1. – Consulting your personal and individual experience of anxiety. When it happens, what you experience, how long you’ve had it, getting clear on what you want, how you want to feel and live and starting some IEMT.

Session 2-4. – Working through any anxiety triggers that you have presented using IEMT around past anxiety attacks, current anxious feelings including panic, fear, worry, being on edge – also working on any of these feelings you may often feel: anger, frustration, guilt, regret, shame, low self-confidence, as these are common anxiety triggers. Quite often releasing these emotional triggers can cause the experience of anxiety to reduce immediately.

Session 5-6. – Working with Mindfulness, NLP and Hypnosis where necessary to help you develop mindset tools, resources, techniques that you can use on a day-to-day basis to help with thought patterns and integrating yourself into your life feeling freer, lighter and happier from the IEMT release work.

I have worked with people all over the world online offering zoom sessions. From teenagers with anxiety, to nurses, business owners, parents and teachers, I experience individual’s changing and transforming their lives, feeling free from their anxiety each and every week.
